A Nurturing Environment for Your Loved One & Respite for the Caregiver
Caring for an elderly spouse, parent or a loved one can be an exhausting labor of love. Our Senior Day Program is designed for individuals aged 60 and over who need care or supervision during the day. Caregivers have peace of mind - knowing their loved one is in a safe and nurturing environment while they work, attend appointments or simply take time to rest and reenergize.
A Senior Day Program enhances the daily lives of individuals who are otherwise confined to home. Independence is encouraged and self-esteem is boosted. Activities provide mental stimulation and increased socialization improves mood and banishes loneliness.
We Are Unique! Attached hospital, emergency room & clinics... Our clients have the security of knowing they’re just down the hall from Minnesota Valley Health Center’s hospital, emergency room and outpatient specialty clinics. A family practice clinic, owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System, is also located on our healthcare campus. Appointments can be arranged during the day with doctors, specialists, lab, radiology, as well as with physical, occupational or speech therapists.
EXERCISE FOR THE MIND Our qualified, caring staff receives continuing education and training through the Alzheimer’s Association. They are skilled in dealing with clients who have dementia and other associated brain disorders. They assist with activities related to daily living, problem-solving and communication.
